B2E Power began with a simple observation: the future of energy will not be built by large institutions alone—it will be built by communities.
Founder Brian Tuohy started B2E Power with a belief that innovation does not require a traditional engineering degree or a corporate research lab. Instead, real progress often begins when practical thinkers, neighbors, and local communities work together to solve real problems.
Living and working in the San Francisco Bay Area, Brian saw firsthand how technology and collaboration could reshape industries. At the same time, he recognized a growing challenge: communities everywhere depend on centralized power systems that are vulnerable to outages, rising costs, and environmental pressures.
B2E Power was created to explore a different path—one where neighborhoods can generate, store, and manage their own energy.
The idea is simple but powerful: combine renewable energy generation, hydrogen storage, and local micro-energy networks so communities can operate more independently. In this model, homes and businesses become active participants in energy production rather than passive consumers.

Technology Overview
B2E Power focuses on decentralized energy systems that combine renewable generation with hydrogen energy storage.
Renewable sources such as solar panels and small wind systems produce electricity locally. When energy production exceeds demand, that power can be used to produce hydrogen through electrolysis. Hydrogen can then be safely stored and later converted back into electricity when renewable generation is low.
This approach creates a local energy loop: Renewable Energy → Hydrogen Production → Hydrogen Storage → Electricity Generation

By integrating these systems into neighborhood-scale microgrids, communities gain reliable power while reducing dependence on centralized infrastructure.
